There are basically 3 types of remote control:-

1. An Original (Genuine) item as supplied by the manufacturer from new (or an updated version thereof),

2. a Direct Replacement which is an electronically identical "clone" of the Original but cosmetically different,

3. a Universal Remote Control.

Universal Remote Controls generally only provide limited functionality such as volume and channel changing, and require a code to be input in order for it to work. NONE of the remote controls listed on this site are Universal Remote Controls.

We only list Direct Replacement and Original Remote Controls. A lot of customers think we have supplied a Universal as the Direct Replacement does not look like the original, but in fact the difference is purely cosmetic. The only setup required is to install the batteries (supplied) and it will do everything the original did (or your money back).

All remote controls come with batteries (except when despatched by Airmail) and are guaranteed by us for 1 year against manufacturing defects.

We hold an extensive stock of remote controls and endeavour to despatch all orders within 1 working day, and usually the same working day. All orders are despatched by First Class post and should arrive within a matter of days (obviously longer when using Airmail).
